Arundel House is a beautiful Georgian manor house, built c. 1970s, with an integral link to the charm and charisma of Whitby’s past. Originally, the home of the Campion family, who were important ship builders at the time of Captain Cook’s voyages of discovery.
The majority of the rooms have views of the Abbey and Pannet Park. It is ideally located within a close distance from the Whitby town centre; which is only a 5 minute walk away.
Our comfortable rooms, all of which are individually themed and dedicated to some of Whitby’s most famous residents. All of our room include a en-suite, a television and hospitality trays. For those special occasions we have the superior Sutcliffe room situated in the ground floor, including a four poster bed and a view down Bagdale and Pannet park.

Arundel House offers an excellent choice of breakfast; including a vegetarian option, famous locally smoked kippers or to set you up for the day, our hearty English breakfast.
